Seminar Topic: Report on the Genomic evolution of Chrysomallon squamiferum

Sun Jin, male, graduated from Hong Kong Baptist University with a Ph.D. degree in Science in 2013, worked as a Research Associate at Hong Kong Baptist University from 2013 to 2015, and served as a postdoctoral and research assistant professor at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology from 2015 to 2020. The main research direction is deep-sea biology, and more than 70 papers have been published in top journals in the fields of Nature Ecology & Evolution, Nature Communications, Molecular Biology & Evolution, ISME Journa. Based on the publication and influence of the above results, he has been invited to serve as a reviewer for well-known magazines such as ISME Journal and received full funding from the University of Hong Kong Education Grants Committee in 2019. The core achievements have been specially invited or oral presentations in large-scale international academic conferences such as the International Society for Synthetic Ecosystems (2017) and the International Mollusk Society Conference (2019).
